Delete your account & data
This page explains how to delete your FreelancerPeople account and the data linked to it — from the app, the website, or by request. It applies to the FreelancerPeople Android app (com.freelancerpeople.app) and freelancerpeople.com.
Delete from the app or website (self-service)

Sign in to the FreelancerPeople app or freelancerpeople.com.

Go to Account → Settings and open the Deactivate / delete account option.

Confirm with the one-time codes we send to your email and mobile (for your security).

Your account enters a 72-hour grace period — sign in within 72 hours to cancel. After that it is permanently archived and your email is released.
Before deleting, withdraw any available wallet balance and close any active orders — deletion is blocked while funds are held or orders are in progress, to protect your money.
Request deletion by email
If you can't sign in, email support@freelancerpeople.com from your registered email address with the subject "Delete my account". We verify ownership and complete deletion within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your profile, username, bio, portfolio and uploaded media
- Your services/SERVEs and listings
- Account contact details (name, email, phone) and identity-verification documents
- Saved items, messages, and personal preferences/settings
What we may retain (and why)
- Transaction & tax records — order, payment and payout history is retained for the period required by law and financial regulations, then deleted.
- Records needed for disputes, fraud prevention, or legal compliance — retained only as long as legally required.
